WITH BIG DREAMS BUT LITTLE FINANCES, ESSEQUIBO BOY TOOK ON 27 SUBJECTS

Ramoll Baboolall is one of two students, both from the Anna Regina Multilateral School on the Essequibo Coast, who copped the most Grade One passes in Guyana, this year. He got 24 Grade One passes and three Grade Two passes. Writing that many subjects, replete with the School Based Assessments required, seems like a herculean or even an unimaginable task- but he did it because he wants to clinch a scholarship to advance his studies. After the announcement of the preliminary results on Monday, he sat down with the News Room at his school to speak about his motivation and dreams.
