MORE HEAVY RAINFALL EXPECTED

Many parts of Georgetown were flooded on Tuesday after about four inches of rainfall. In response, the National Drainage and Irrigation Authority sprang into action, regulating the pumps and sluices across the city. Agriculture Zulfikar later Mustapha assessed some of the pumps and instructed the NDIA to put adequate measures in place to mitigate flooding.
