LADY JAGS COACH HOPING FOR SHORT, INTENSE CAMP AHEAD OF T&T, NICARAGUA CLASHES

Guyana senior national Women’s football team Head Coach, Dr. Ivan Joseph, is hoping for a short and intense camp ahead of the Concacaf Women’s World Cup Qualifiers against Trinidad and Tobago and Nicaragua in April.

The Senior Lady Jags are currently leading Group F after commanding wins in February, getting past Dominica 4-0 and the Turks and Caicos Islands 7-0. Guyana is the only nation in the five-team group yet to concede a goal.

Only one team from the group will advance to the next stage of the qualifiers, which also serve as a gateway to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
