GUYANESE JEFFREY PIPS BOODOOSINGH TO WIN CARIBBEAN RADICAL SERIES

After dropping 15 points in the title race for the Radical Caribbean Cup a month ago in Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana’s Kristian Jeffrey envisioned the finale in Guyana would be a mirror of the battle between current F1 stars Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix of 2021.

As the sun set, Jeffrey lit up the expanded South Dakota Circuit in the final race, holding off stiff competition from Jamaican Senna Summerbell, who found his groove, and Kristian Boodoosingh.

Jeffrey held his line, and produced a defensive masterclass, to keep the duo at bay, and see the checkered waved at the end, securing a thrilling come-from-behind run on the title.

Speaking to News Room’s Akeem Greene after the triumph, Jeffrey hailed this team for their overwhelming support.
