GECOM TO RELEASE IMMIGRATION, REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS USED TO ALLEGE VOTER FRAUD AG

The Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) has agreed to release documents which were used by the A Partnership For National Unity + Alliance For Change (APNU+AFC) Coalition to allege voter fraud during the 2020 General and Regional Elections.

In a letter dated August 30, 2022, Nandlall had written to the GECOM requesting the documents noting that it is necessary to officially reconfirm the allegations’ inaccuracy.
On Tuesday last, during his weekly television programme Issues in the News, Nandlall confirmed that GECOM has agreed to release the documents.
