CANCER FIGHTER RETURNS HOME WITH SUCCESS STORY AFTER MAJOR SURGERIES IN TRINIDAD

Through financial support from the public, 25-year-old Candacey Glen was able to acquire just enough money to undergo major surgeries in Trinidad and Tobago to remove cancer cells from her body. It is just over a month since the surgeries and Glen says although she still has to undergo chemotherapy treatment to remove all the cancer cells, she is looking forward to a normal life again. Glen was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2021 and had started chemotherapy but she did not have enough money to undergo surgical treatment in Cuba. As such, the cancer progressed to other parts of her body but she sought assistance from the public and managed to get most of the cancer removed in September.
